Along the... read more way we stopped at a wonderful roadside espresso stand, enjoying the view of the countryside and absorbing as much of the rich history imparted to us by our wonderful guide. That evening we enjoyed an incredible dinner in both atmosphere and flavor at a local restaurant recommended by Hrvoje. The following day we met Hrvoje for a private tour of Diocletian’s Palace, and were delighted by the information he shared with us, both historical facts and cultural insights from his family’s century’s long connection to Split and Dalmatia. We were originally attracted to Croatia due to the rich historical heritage and maritime geography on the Adriatic. We will come back because of the amazing culture and people, best represented by Hrvoje.

During the trip he shared some really interesting human history... read more of Krka before we set off to see the falls, then after a brief ferry ride took us to a great restaurant that was off the beaten path in Skraden (La Scala). After a short ride he then took us through Sibenik, a beautiful world heritage site.

Hrjove did a great job of sharing his knowledge as well as letting us letting us explore on our own. I'd highly recommend hiring him for the day, he was super fun and a really good tour leader.

He gave us a choice of routes and recommended the scenic one. Always a good choice. We would highly recommend using his services.
